MADE FROM WASTE
Discarded waste are reworked into refined, functional bags—objects designed to be used, kept and considered. The larger system, however, continues much as before. Waste is still burned or buried, efficiently removed from sight. But absence is not disappearance; what we discard persists, just elsewhere. This project doesn’t claim to solve the issue. It suggests a shift—away from disposable culture, towards accountability. A change in habit, carried through daily use. It’s in our hands. Shift behaviour. Shape culture.
DESIGNER PARTNERS
Issue works with designers in engaging waste as material innovation— Rethinking what is already in circulation. Our first series focused on soft plastic waste. Shift behaviour. Shape culture.
